Every year, thousands of businessmen visit New Zealand to conduct meetings, attend seminars, exhibitions, or to do business with NZ companies. There are requirements you must meet to be allowed into New Zealand.
A business visitor is someone who comes to New Zealand to engage in international business activities without directly entering the NZ labour market. Business visitors usually stay in NZ for a few days or a few weeks but are able to stay for up to 6 months. A business visitor has a separate requirement for obtaining visa. Business visitors do not require a work permit as they don’t intend to work in New Zealand. However, while applying for their Visa, they must be able to establish the sincerity of their business visit.
