Canada has now resumed all-program Express Entry draws and has conducted the first ever draw on 8th July since the pandemic.
Canada’s first all-program Express Entry draw since March 4th has issued 3,900 invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence. The minimum cut-off CRS score for this draw was 478.
Since the coronavirus was labelled as a global threat and Canada introduced new travel restrictions to prevent the spread, the Express Entry draws have been limited to PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) and CEC (Canadian Experience Class) candidates. This was the first ever draw since March 4 when FSWP and FSTP candidates became eligible to receive ITAs for Permanent Residence.
The 8th July all-program draw was of the same size as the previous all-program invitation round held on 4th March which also issued 3900 ITAs.
It is the 22nd draw of the year 2020 and brings the total number of invitations issued to 53,800 which sets a new record for this date.
