In the latest Express Entry draw held on February 5, the Government of Canada issued 3,500 invitations to apply (ITAs) for Canadian permanent residence.
The cut-off Comprehensive Ranking System Score (CRS score) in this latest Express Entry draw was 472, marking an increase of one point over the previous January 22 draw.
With this draw, Canada has now issued a total of 10,300 invitations to apply to Express Entry candidates in the year 2020.
In this draw, the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) applied a tiebreak time 07:36:26 UTC and the date of January 30, 2020.
The target for permanent resident admissions through three of the federal high-skilled programs is set to rise to 85,800 ITAs this year and 88,800 ITAs in 2021.
The target for Canada’s Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) which is also managed by the Express Entry system is slated to rise to 67,800 ITAs in 2020 and 71,300 ITAs in 2021.
