IRCC issued 6,000 Express Entry ITAs in a French-language draw, with the CRS cut-off at 399.

IRCC has conducted its second French-language proficiency Express Entry draw within a three-week period. Across these two rounds, more than 12,000 invitations have been extended to French-speaking applicants, who continue to receive the highest number of ITAs among all Express Entry candidates. With the latest draw included, a total of 48,000 invitations has now been issued under the French-language category across nine draws.

This round marks the sixth Express Entry draw held in December. It comes shortly after a Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draw on December 16, a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on December 15, and a targeted draw for healthcare and social services occupations on December 11.

So far in 2025, IRCC has issued a cumulative total of 117,998 invitations to apply through the Express Entry system.

Throughout the year, Express Entry selections have largely concentrated on Provincial Nominee Program draws. The remaining invitations have been distributed among CEC applicants, French-speaking candidates, and individuals in designated priority occupation categories.
