Saskatchewan invited immigration candidates from Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand streams to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence on February 13.
The SINP (Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program) issued a total of 646 invitations in this recent February 13 draw.
In order to be considered, the candidates need to have submitted an Expression of Interest profile with the SINP.
Through this EOI system, the SINP issues invitations to immigration candidates that have the potential to thrive in prairie Saskatchewan province.
Interested candidates are required to create an EOI profile and show their capacity to settle into the life in Saskatchewan province by listing their education, work experience, age, language ability, and connections to the province.
The SINP assesses the candidates on the basis of these five factors to give them a score out of 100 on the International Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid.
The minimum score required in the recent Feb 13 draw was 70 for both the categories.
In the Feb 13 draw, three times more candidates were invited as compared to the previous Jan 13 draw.
