Saskatchewan’s provincial nominee program invited 621 candidates from the International Skilled worker category through its two subcategories: Occupation In-Demand and Express Entry.
The draw was held on 15th September and was the largest PNP draw by the province since February, targeting candidates with experience in three tech occupations.
In order for a candidate to be invited, he/she needs to have submitted their Expression of Interest (EOI) profiles with the SINP. They were also required to have work experience in the following three occupations:
- Computer programming and interactive media developers (NOC 2174)
- Software engineers and designers (NOC 2173)
- Web designers and developers (NOC 2175)
The minimum cut-off score required to be invited in the September 15 draw was 68 for both the sub-categories. Those candidates who were invited with the minimum score were required to have connections with the province and at least 10 years of work experience in any of these three occupations and a Canadian Language Benchmark of 8. All the other invited candidates required a score of at least 69.
