Spousal Sponsorship Immigration for Canada

If your want your spouse or partner who is a foreign national to live permanently with you in Canada, GEPSI Immigration Services can help you apply and bring them to Canada as a permanent resident. To be eligible to sponsor your spouse or partner for permanent residency, you must be:

at least 18 years old
Living in Canada, or planning to return to Canada once your spouse or partner becomes a permanent resident of Canada
Able and willing to provide for the basic financial needs of your spouse or partner for three years

In-Canada Sponsorship Class

If your spouse or partner is living inside Canada, and has a legal immigration status, you should apply under the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class (Inland). Under this class, you would be able to apply for an open work permit for your spouse, which will allow your spouse to work in Canada while the application is in process.

Family Class (Outland) Sponsorship Class

You should apply under the Family Class (Outland) sponsorship option if your spouse/partner (i.e. “the applicant”) is living outside of Canada.
